our mission at UFO is to empower creative people to make their best work and get noticed.

UFO grew out of a music production studio, founded in 2010 by lane banning in an industrial warehouse in greenpoint, brooklyn. in that time, we’ve worked with thousands of brands, artists and creative teams.

the 2010s were the most radical shift in music industry history. fighting it out with our independent NYC music community, we had to grow thick skin and thicker skills.

we’ve since honed our acute sense of storytelling, community building, and creative marketing.
